Driving Directions from Lukeville, Arizona

After crossing the U.S.–Mexico border at Lukeville, Arizona, you will enter Sonoyta, Sonora. Follow the signs for Puerto Peñasco / Rocky Point and continue south on Mexico Highway 8 toward Puerto Peñasco. Highway 8 is the main route from Sonoyta to Rocky Point.

As you enter Puerto Peñasco, follow the signs toward Sandy Beach / Cholla Bay (Bahía La Choya). Turn right onto Blvd. Samuel Ocaña and continue west, crossing the railroad tracks and proceeding through the roundabout toward the Sandy Beach resort area.

Continue west past the Sandy Beach resorts and follow signs for Cholla Bay / La Choya. Cholla Bay is located beyond the main Sandy Beach resort corridor.
