The highly anticipated Coastal Highway (Carretera Costera), is now open!!! That's right! The Coastal highway is open!! Millions of people just got a lot closer to Puerto Penasco. The road is paved all the way and it is a very good quality road. You can now drive all the way to El Golfo from Rocky Point in about 1 hour and 15 mintues. Better yet Yuma can make it to Rocky Point in about 2 1/2 hours. El Centro, CA. about 3 1/2, and San Diego about 5 1/4 hours.

TIMES: San Diego to El Centro time 1:45 hrs. El Centro to Yuma 1 hour. Yuma to El Golfo 1:15 hour, EL Golfo to Rocky Point 1:15 hours.

POPULATION STATISTICS:
